Our home race is a 2k head race where competitors are set off at time intervals on the River Ancholme. It always attracts a high number of entrants and is particularly popular with juniors as the river is one of the straightest, so no tricky corners to navigate mid effort!
It has become notorious with being usually quite a cold and wet race day (October weather in northern England) but that never dampens the spirits of the competitors and the incredible volunteers who assist in making this event possible.
This year the race is held on 11th October 2020, get your entries in and lets hope for at least dry weather!
